Goals

The VIII Iberian Modelling Week will contribute to train students in Mathematical Modelling and stimulate their collaboration and communication skills, in a multinational environment. The main objectives are:

To give the students the experience of working in mathematical modelling under the supervision of a specialized teacher.

To provide them the opportunity to approach identical problems that they might find on the marketplace, as well as to develop their teamwork skills, critical thinking, rigour and scientific communication.

To raise awareness of the companies to the contribution that mathematicians can give to the industry.
