Event History


The Iberian Modelling Week had its first edition in September 2014 at the Department of Mathematics of the Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Coimbra, in a joint organization of the Mathematics Student Group of the Academic Association of the University of Coimbra and the Computational Mathematics Laboratory of the Mathematics Center of the University of Coimbra. From 2015, the event has been managed by PT-MATHS-IN (Portuguese Network of Mathematics for Industry and Innovation) and math-in (Spanish Network of Mathematics-Industry). The Iberian Modelling Weeks will occur annually, alternating between Portugal and Spain.

    The 10IMW is promoted by the Portuguese Network of Mathematics for Industry and Innovation, PT-MATHS-IN, and by the Spanish Network for Mathematics and Industry, math-in. It is supported by the Department of Mathematics and the Center for Mathematics of the University of Minho, through the FCT-CMAT Projects with the references UIDB/00013/2020 and UIDP/00013/2020.
